Missouri State will partner with two community programs over the next week to bring unique experiences to students, faculty and staff.
Family Day at the Dickerson Park Zoo
The first event will be this Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Dickerson Park Zoo, where the Missouri State University Foundation, Alumni Association and Student Government Association will host a dedication ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at the zoo’s Bear Country exhibit. Students, alumni, faculty and staff, along with their families, are invited to wear any Missouri State clothing to receive half off admission throughout the day.
Discovery Center Free Day
The next event is the Discovery Center Free Day on Oct. 1. Missouri State, in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution, is hosting a traveling exhibit called Green Revolution, developed with recycled and re-purposed materials. Students, faculty and staff, along with their families, will receive free admission to the Discovery Center, open that day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
