On Thursday, September 1st come to the PSU North Mall from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM for Sample Springfield. Springfield area businesses will be giving away free food, giveaways, and coupons at over 60 tables. If you’re new to Springfield and want to find out what all the great businesses in the area have to offer, or just like free stuff,  this is your event!

Other Events Aug. 31- Sept. 7:

Skipping back a day, SAC films will be showing The Hangover Part II in the PSU Theater at 9 PM on Wednesday, August 31st. That’s your only chance to catch it this week as it won’t be shown Sunday due to the holiday weekend.

On Thursday, welcome September with  SAC After Hours Presents: DVD Bingo! from 9 PM – 12 AM in the PSU Food Court. Come by and play for chances to win free DVDs!

September 2nd isCollege Colors Day – a nationwide competition to show school spirit. Participate by wearing your maroon & white. Stop in at the MSU Bookstore and grab some BearWear, and remember to wear it on Friday!

Friday, September 2nd brings with it the deadline to register with Campus Recreation for:  Latin Dance, Mat Pilates, and Yoga in the Fitness & Wellness area as well as Intramural league soccer and softball.  Tuesday, September 6th is the last day to register for Outdoor Adventures Bike Maintenance Workshop. Monday, September 5th is Labor Day! That means no classes and University offices are closed. So hit the pool for the last time or throw together a family BBQ. Then get ready to come back for more great events!

 Wednesday, September 7  check out Recreation Sports and Fitness Day from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM on the PSU North Mall. There will be activities and giveaways to promote exercise and wellness among students. Activities include climbing walls, prizes, and more!

Finally check out Super 8 in the PSU Theater for the low price of free thanks to SAC Wednesday night at 9 PM.
