The Counseling and Testing Center is offering educational free, anonymous screenings for a range of common emotional conditions that are often misunderstood on Thursday from 10 AM – 2 PM during National Depression Screening Day.
Thursday at 7 PM come by the PSU Theater to listen as Fall Convocation speaker Douglas Rushkoff gives his speech Program or be Programmed on the Impact of technology and digital media in society. Check out more on the event here. Or listen to an interview about the convocation here.
After the convocation come by the PSU Food Court for SAC Presents: Rainbow Dance! Dance the night away with SAC in honor of LGBT month. There will be music, food and great dancing. Wear a solid color of your choice to contribute to the rainbow!
On Friday, October 7th make sure you wear denim and your BearWear to support Breast Cancer Research. Then head to the Making Strides on Pink Ice MSU Hockey game at Mediacom Ice Park at 7 PM as they take on NIU. Then on Saturday there will be a silent auction for the pink jerseys the players wear and all proceeds will go to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. More info here.
At 7:30 PM on Friday SAC will be hosting the weekly event Rock N Bowl come by for free bowling in the Level 1 Game Center on the first floor of the PSU.
