Who’s ready for a break? Here at the Student eBulletin we’re flipping the switch from work mode into watching football, eating way too much turkey, and napping mode. In case you didn’t know Wednesday is the start of Thanksgiving holiday with no classes being held Wednesday through Sunday and University offices being closed Thursday through Sunday. So enjoy your time off and get caught up on all that studying you’ve put off for the first 14 or so weeks of the semester. Since, of course, once we return from this break we’ve only got 2 full weeks left before finals. So get rested up and ready to buckle down and cap off a great semester. We’ll be back to our regular posting schedule on Monday. Until then Happy Thanksgiving!

There’s no SAC Film this Wednesday. Instead take some time to check out all the great Homecoming events going on around campus.
The weekly film returns on Sunday with a screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Don’t fret though Potter fans you’ll have more than one chance to catch this flick. You can also see it next Wednesday and Sunday. So that’s 3 chances to see the final Harry Potter film: Sunday, Oct. 30th, Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, and Sunday, Nov. 6th all at 9 PM in the PSU Theater for the low price of free.
At this point I don’t think the Harry Potter franchise needs any introduction, but just in case here’s the synopsis from IMDB:
“The final chapter begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord’s three remaining Horcruxes, the magical items responsible for his immortality. But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again. “
The 8th and final installment of the Harry Potter franchise finishes off the 7th book where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 left off. If you havevn’t seen Part 1 go grab it off Redbox this week and get prepped for Part 2. The film was one of the highest grossing and most critically acclaimed of the big summer blockbusters, pulling in a 96% fresh rating with 255 fresh reviews and only 10 rotten on Rotten Tomatoes. The consensus from Rotten Tomatoes is:
“Thrilling, powerfully acted, and visually dazzling, Deathly Hallows Part II brings the Harry Potter franchise to a satisfying — and suitably magical — conclusion.”
