Recreational Sports & Fitness Day is TODAY! Join us on the North Mall for free giveaways and prizes from 10:30am – 2pm.
Intramural Deadlines
-Registration for the dodgeball tournament ends today.
-Registration for flag football, sand volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and IFC roller hockey ends Friday, 9/9.
SHARP: self-defense class for women; Session 1 registration ends Thursday 9/8. FREE.
BootCamp: a five-week Back-to-school workout program designed to start the year off right!.
JOB FAIR: Mark your calendars for September 13th! We’re hosting a job fair for the NEW university recreation center. PSU 308 from 11am-1pm or 6pm-8pm.

Don’t forget to check out Super 8 in the PSU Theater at 9 PM tonight and Sunday, September 11th if you miss it.
Then on Thursday, September 8th come by the PSU Food Court at 9 PM to get set up for SAC After Hours Presents: Capture the Flag. Make sure you’re there at 9 to get divided up into teams for the campus wide game.
Not the capture the flag type? Then check out the Strong Hall Amphitheater on Friday, September 9th at 5 PM for the start of the 14th Annual Ozarks Celebration Festival. The festival kicks off with Friday’s concert featuring 3 of Springfield’s most popular bands: The Blackberry Winter Band, Beyond Reach, and Big Smith. The festival runs from September 9th – September 11th followed by the Ozarks Lecture Series from September 12th – 14th. On Sunday, September 11th watch Women’s Soccer take on Oral Roberts at the Plaster Sports Complex at 2 PM.
On Monday September 12th SAC will be presenting It Gets Better featuring Dan Savage. Listen as Dan Savage takes you through his journey and explains the “It Gets Better” motto.
