On Friday, March 30, 2018 from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. crews from City Utilities of Springfield will be working at the intersection of Bear Boulevard and Holland Avenue to make connections to the new water main that has been installed in Holland Avenue.  This work will require a full closure of the intersection of Bear Boulevard  and Holland Avenue.  Sidewalks in the area will likely be impacted by this work as well. 

In addition, the domestic water service and fire service to JQH Arena and Hammons Student Center will be turned off for as long as 10 hours while this work takes place.  Plumbing in the building will not be available during that time.
