Some Employees Must Turn Off Electronics Friday

Due to a planned electrical outage early on Saturday, August 5, 2023, several buildings must have electronics shut down ahead of time.

Before leaving work on Friday, August 4, employees in Plaster Stadium East and West, Central Stores & Maintenance, Blunt Hall, and Kemper Hall must turn off the following items:

  • PC
  • Surface
  • Laptop
  • Printer
  • Timeclock
  • Other plugged in electronic MSU devices in your office or area in STMA.

Power will be cut off on Saturday, August 5 at 4 a.m. You do not need to unplug your desk phones.  If you need to enter the building or area in the building while the power is out, you will need a physical key.
