The FCTL is excited to announce the Keynote Speaker for this year’s Faculty Showcase on Teaching and Learning: Dr. Rebecca Pope-Ruark! Dr. Pope-Ruark is the author of Unraveling Faculty Burnout: Pathways to Reckoning and Renewal and a Faculty Development Coach at Georgia Tech University. Dr. Pope-Ruark has nearly 20 years of experience in higher education as a graduate instructor, tenure-track and tenured professor, and faculty teaching and learning specialist. Her expertise centers around addressing burnout and disengagement in faculty at higher education institutions, and she now serves as the Director of the Office of Faculty Professional Development at Georgia Tech University.
Dr. Pope-Ruark will give two keynote sessions this year at the Showcase: the Keynote Luncheon, Faculty Vitality In and Through Change, and the Keynote Workshop, Unraveling Faculty Burnout: Strategies for Compassion and Connection.
