Teaching and Learning Grants
Every academic year, the FCTL offers funding opportunities for faculty who are interested in pursuing a scholarly project investigating or supporting teaching and learning practices. These grants are referred to as Teaching and Learning Grants, and each grant may carry an award of up to $3,000. If you’re looking for funding for a scholarly project, let the FCTL assist you in your academic mission—start preparing to submit a proposal this fall. The call for grant proposals opens October 1.
Teaching Excellence Award
Every academic year, the FCTL awards up to five faculty members with a Teaching Excellence Award to recognize their outstanding teaching practices and exemplary dedication to student success. Recipients of this award will receive a $1,000 stipend (less payroll taxes). If you’ve employed innovative teaching techniques, built a supportive classroom community, or utilized some other aspects of teaching and learning practices to inspire your students and facilitate impactful learning, get ready to apply for the award this fall! The call for applications opens October 15, and both peer and self-nominations are welcome.
