The FCTL congratulates the recipients of this year’s Teaching Excellence Award! These faculty members have undergone a rigorous application and assessment process, and have been selected by the FCTL Advisory Council in recognition of their exemplary success in facilitating student learning and success at Missouri State University. This year’s winners are:
- Dr. Benjamin Beranek, Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance, Economics and Risk Management
- Michael Foster, Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance
- Dr. Holly Holladay, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication, Media, Journalism and Film
- Dr. Sarah Murray, Assistant Professor and Director of the Nutrition and Dietetics Program
- Dr. Keith McShan, Assistant Professor in the School of Health Sciences

Every academic year, the FCTL awards the Teaching Excellence Award to up to five faculty members in recognition of their demonstrated teaching excellence and dedication to student success.
