Join FCTL Instructional Designer Dr. Stacy Rice next week for the first session of a transformative workshop series that will help you take your online course to the next level!
Next Friday, September 11, marks the first session of the Improving Your Online Course (IYOC) QM Workshop. This workshop is a Quality Matters (QM) workshop, and will utilize the essential Specific Review Standards of the QM Rubric to provide a practical framework for enhancing the quality of your course. Using the QM Rubric, you’ll review your own online course and develop an improvement plan that will give you clear, actionable steps to creating a higher quality course. Through participating in this workshop, you can expect to:
- Identify the origin and scope of Quality Matters (QM)
- Apply essential QM Specific Review Standards to your own course
- Examine and describe alignment within at least one module or unit
- Prioritize meaningful improvements to strengthen your course design
This is an official QM workshop, which means that participants are able to receive QM credit and earn a QM certification through their completion of the workshop. Please note that in order for credit to be earned, attendance to the entire workshop and completion of all activities is required.
Session One is being held on Friday, September 11, from 9:00 AM – 12:35 PM. The workshop will have five sessions in total. To find the dates and times for all other sessions, visit the FCTL website for more information.
Note: Space for this workshop is limited. To register to attend, RSVP via email to Stacy Rice.
