The Faculty Library – Discover New and Informative Educator Resources

September 17, 2025 by Hailey J. Maples

This semester, the FCTL officially launched the Faculty Library webpage, showcasing a collection of texts and resources freely available to MSU faculty members through the FCTL. The Faculty Library is comprised of books, articles, periodicals, and magazines spanning topics far and wide related to teaching and learning. From AI in college courses and fostering belonging in classrooms to how to talk about hot topics on campus, the Faculty Library provides a place for faculty to explore and learn about the issues in education most important to them.

Most texts in the Faculty Library are geared specifically towards university level educators, making them a valuable resource for those interested in learning more about the practice of teaching, the institution of higher education, and how to function within it in an ethical and effective manner. If you’re curious what you can learn from the Faculty Library, the FCTL invites you to stop by in person or visit the Faculty Library webpage to browse our collection and take a look at our featured texts this semester.

The Faculty Library is located in the FCTL (Meyer Library Room 204), and faculty are welcome to stop by and browse or borrow texts from the library at any time during FCTL business hours.
