Potatoes and cabbage planted in high tunnel today

Two rows of potatoes and one row of cabbage was planted today.

Winter bud cold injury minimal

We checked 100 buds of each cultivar in the Foundation Vineyard after we experienced a low of minus 6.7 degrees in February. Cold injury was minimal. Aaron Taylor and Shelia Long found holes in grape canes as they were pruning. Soon they discovered grape cane borers as well as some other insects inside the holes. Sprayer calibration – the first sign of spring

Tubes were attached to each nozzle between the disc and the manifold.

We calibrated the CIMA airblast sprayer yesterday to get ready to apply sulfur in the dormant season to grapes.
