The soil moisture probes were installed on Friday, April 20th. Four sets of probes were placed with each set having a probe at a depth of 12" and at 30". The field crew started harvesting black walnuts for a research trial being conducted in cooperation with Hammons Black Walnut company in Stockton, Missouri.
