Mark your calendar with these upcoming wellness and benefit dates.

Benefits Open Enrollment:

  • Nov. 1-Dec. 1

Be sure to complete your benefit open enrollment review to review current elections to ensure accuracy, make benefit changes and enroll 2025 Cafeteria/Flexible spending elections.

Full-time employees on the Health Plan can earn $15 of the wellness incentive by completing the “Did you know 2.0” video via My Learning Connection (Nov 1.-Dec. 1).

Individual wellness activities are worth $15 monthly. Completing all three options (flu shot, biometric screening, educational video) is encouraged; however the maximum incentive is $30 monthly.

Springfield Activities:

Flu vaccinations

Earn $15 of the wellness incentive by getting a flu shot between Aug. 1 and Dec. 1, 2024. Flu shot clinics (appointments required):

  • Now-Dec. 1: Magers Health and Wellness
  • Oct. 14: Alumni Center, 1-4:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 23: PSU Grand Ballroom, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Submit records from outside providers by Dec 1. to magersmedicalrecords@missouristate.edu for credit.

Unable to get a flu shot? Complete the biometric screening and “Did You Know 2.0” video for the full $30 incentive. For further accommodations, contact Julia Holmes at JuliaHolmes@missouristate.edu by Nov. 1, 2024.

Biometric screenings

Biometric screenings help identify health risks and improve well-being. Full-time Health Plan members can earn $15 of the wellness incentive by completing a screening between Jan. 1 and Dec. 1, 2024.

Screenings are fully covered by the Health Plan at Magers or other contracted providers. Submit screening records from outside providers by Dec 1. to magersmedicalrecords@missouristate.edu for wellness incentive credit.

Appointments are required:

  • Oct. 29 and Oct. 30: PSU Room 308, 7-9:45 a.m. (provided by Mercy)
  • Year-round at Magers Health and Wellness

Submit records from outside providers to magersmedicalrecords@missouristate.edu for credit. Critical illness insurance enrollees can earn a $100 wellness reimbursement for covered activities like biometric screenings.

Health and Benefits Fair

  • Oct. 23: Plaster Student Union, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

MOSERS on campus

  • Oct. 16: Plaster Student Union Ballroom East, Room 300E, 1-4 p.m.
  • Oct. 17: Plaster Student Union Ballroom East, Room 300E (27 seats remaining), 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

MOSERS pre-registration required.

  • If you have not already registered, now is the time to do so. Registration closes one week before in-person seminars. Once you have registered, confirmation and reminders will be sent.

Mercy Mammogram Bus on campus

  • Oct. 14 and 28 (call 417-820-2790 to schedule an appointment)

West Plains Activities
