Early detection saves lives! Regular mammogram screenings are essential for identifying breast cancer at its earliest, most treatable stages. Don’t wait—take control of your health today.

Preventative mammography screenings are available at no cost to you when using an in-network provider—covered at 100% under both the base and buy-up health plans. Employees and covered dependents can also take advantage of the Mammography Bus for convenient on-campus screenings.

  • Location: Mercy Mammogram bus will be parked in front of Freudenberger House
Qualifications for Mercy Mobile Mammography:
  • Must be 40+ years old.
  • At least one year since the last mammogram
  • No current breast problems
  • Bus can provide mammography for those with breast implants (notify the scheduler)
  • Must be able to enter the bus via steep steps and stand unassisted.
  • Appointments take approximately 15 minutes (30 minutes if breast implants)

The equipment on the bus is the same as at the Mercy Breast Center. Exams are conducted by a female technologist from the Breast Center. Images are read by the same Radiologists. Insurance will be filed on your behalf.

West Plains Campus

  • Contact: 417-257-5912
  • Date: June 25 and October 29
  • Location: OZH Mammogram bus will be parked in Lybyer parking lot
Qualifications for Ozarks Healthcare’s Mobile Mammography:
  • Be female and 40 years or older
  • Not had a mammogram in the past year
  • Not currently be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Not have implants or breast issues, such as breast discharge, lumps, pain or discoloration
  • Have never been previously diagnosed with breast cancer

Additional Benefits – Get Rewarded for Prioritizing Your Health!

Employees and covered dependents enrolled in Allstate Critical Illness Insurance are eligible to receive a $100 wellness reimbursement for covered wellness and preventative care activities, including mammography.

Additionally, employees enrolled in the UNUM Hospital Indemnity Plan can claim a $50 “Be Well” benefit, payable for wellness-related activities such as mammograms.

Reminder: Enrollment or changes to your medical, critical illness, or hospital indemnity plans can only be made within 31 days of a qualifying life event or during open enrollment (Nov 1 – Dec 1).
