đź’› Show You Care at Missouri State
June 7 is World Caring Day, a reminder to pause and show compassion for those around us. At Missouri State University, we believe in building a campus community rooted in kindness, support, and connection. Whether you give time, food, or resources—your caring actions matter.
🤝 Make Your Time Matter: Donate Vacation Leave to the Shared Leave Pool
Consider donating unused vacation leave to Missouri State’s Shared Leave Pool—a voluntary program that supports coworkers facing a serious medical condition or welcoming a child through adoption or placement.
This program provides financial relief by ensuring paid leave—it’s a meaningful way to help a coworker in need.
⏳ Limited-Time Opportunity: The donation cap has been temporarily increased from 48 to 64 hours. If you’ve already given the max in the past, you can now donate up to 16 more hours.
đź’ˇ Employees must donate at least 8 hours to be eligible to receive shared leave. Donations can be made in 1-hour increments.
🎯 Goal: Help us reach 2,500 donated hours by June 30.
