Biometric Screenings – Available Throughout the Year

Take Advantage of Wellness Screenings and Incentives

Prioritizing your health has never been easier. Biometric and wellness screenings are a vital part of maintaining your health and are covered preventive services under the Mo State health plan. Early detection through screenings can lead to more successful treatments, so don’t wait—schedule yours today.


🩺 Get Your Biometric Screening Early

Employees enrolled in the Mo State health plan are encouraged to complete biometric or wellness screenings at Magers Health and Wellness Center or another in-network provider at any time throughout the year.

  • Routine biometric appointments at Magers are covered at 100% for employees on the Mo State health plan
  • These appointments are a convenient, no-cost option for eligible employees
  • Employees are not required to use sick leave when attending an appointment at Magers
  • Schedule online and plan early to avoid peak-season delays

🏥 Available Screening Options

Magers Health and Wellness Center

  • Available by appointment year-round
  • Recommended as the primary option for on-campus employees
  • Routine screening services covered at 100% under the Mo State health plan

💉 Mercy Biometric Screening Events

Mercy will offer Springfield on-campus biometric screening opportunities on the following dates:

  • October 27, 2026
  • October 28, 2026

📍 Location: PSU Room 308
🕡 Time: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Sign-up details will be shared through future HR communications.


💡 Earn Incentives for Wellness Screenings

Employees enrolled in certain voluntary insurance plans may be eligible for additional wellness incentives:

Allstate Accident Insurance

  • Enrolled employees may receive $50 or $75 for an outpatient physician treatment visit, which can include wellness screenings
  • File a claim: Claim Form

Allstate Critical Illness Insurance

  • Enrolled employees and covered dependents may receive a $100 wellness reimbursement for activities such as biometric screenings, even when the service itself is free
  • File a claim: Claim Form

UNUM Hospital Indemnity Plan

  • Enrolled employees may receive a $50 Be Well Benefit for completing a covered health screening, such as a biometric screening
  • File a claim: Instructions
