This past May, the Missouri State Ad Team took home first place in the AT&T Campus Challenge in Dallas, Texas. In addition to their victory, the team was also awarded a $1,000 scholarship. The Campus Challenge charged the Ad Team with creating, developing and implementing a research and marketing plan for AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign to end texting while driving. The Ad Team’s marketing plan blended events, social media and advertising.
The team’s victory made headlines in The Wall Street Journal.
