Campus Marketing Internship
Job Description:
As a TACO BELL® campus marketing representative, most of your activities will revolve around special events, promotions and sponsorships on campus. The success of these activities will depend upon your involvement from initial planning to follow-up. Reps should plan on a monthly campus-wide event and weekly, or even daily, activities such as door prizes for organizational meetings, building new product awareness, sponsoring blood drives, intramurals, etc., that will constantly keep the TACO BELL® name in front of students.
Duties include:
1) Maintain a highly visible and respected profile as an official representative of TACO BELL®.
2) Identify trends on campus, student attitudes toward the industry and the local TACO BELL® stores.
3) Maintain visibility with university officials, administrators, key student groups and other individuals important to our efforts.
4) Spearhead all TACO BELL® activities on campus or connected with the university.
5) Constantly monitor special events, programs and athletic functions and recommend those worthy of participation by TACO BELL®.
6) Assist in proposing budgets for each function.
7) Locate suppliers, newspaper representatives, yearbook representatives, etc. to make each function as successful as possible for the least amount of money.
8) Remain in contact with local TACO BELL® store managers, with the agency offices and your Campus Coordinator; arrange weekly meetings with your local store manager.
9) Compile expenditures and track results of each function.
10) Coordinate the activities of each function with your TACO BELL® manager, before, during and after.
11) Do not accept employment by any potential TACO BELL® competitor, nor divulge any information to them.
12) Be knowledgeable of competitive restaurant/fast food marketing activities and report such activities to the campus rep coordinator.
13) Assist TACO BELL® and Williams/Crawford whenever called upon to do so.
14) Submit completed Management Meeting Notification Report weekly to both your Campus Coordinator at Williams/Crawford and to your local TACO BELL® store manager.
Williams/Crawford will hire one representative.
