Job Title and Description/Primary Responsibilities: Account Service Intern

Are you eager to get real-world marketing experience? We are immediately seeking an enthusiastic intern to support our Account Service team at our full-service creative agency.
The Intern is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Account Services department. The position requires the ability to multi-task and perform professionally in a fast-paced agency environment. The Intern possesses strong communication and critical thinking skills and is eager and dedicated to all (and sometimes tight) deadlines. The Intern will take initiative in problem solving and have the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with developing project background/overviews
  • Assist with project management (timelines, budgets, invoices, etc.)
  • Schedule meetings
  • Take notes, consolidate, and share with team
  • Update status documents/programs (on behalf of client and team)
  • Learn programs and databases
  • Conduct client and project-related research
  • Proof content
  • Draft emails
  • Assist with third-party and vendor relationships (e.g. digital partner, printer, shipping company) and obtain quotes
  • General admin, team and account support, including special projects
  • Other projects as assigned (e.g. agency content marketing and implementation)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree – ideally with emphasis in business, marketing, or communications
  • Marketing/PR/Communications/Creative interest or experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), proofing and administrative skills
  • Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
  • Able to thrive under pressure and go above and beyond
  • Professional and able to work in a collaborative atmosphere
  • Organized, dependable and detail oriented
  • Team player with positive attitude and cooperative spirit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Social media savvy

Location: St. Louis, MO

Hours: Interns will typically work Monday through Friday, 24-40 hours a week (depending on availability)

Internship Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: 3-6 months

  • Cover letter stating why you are interested in Notion’s internship
  • Online portfolio or anything illustrating your skills and experience
