Position Overview: The Transportation Specialist is a position of support to the CSA Advisor’s customer base. The position reports to the compliance manager.

Position Description: The Transportation Specialist supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. This includes answering phones, assisting with preparing documents, organizing files, managing existing documents, and other duties depending on the company and its needs. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of industry concepts and practices.

Required Qualifications: Professional when communicating with customers, employees, and management.

Duties and Responsibilities: To assess the needs of customers and provide information concerning the services, procedures and guidelines of the business. Customer Service Manager for designated clients. Set up DOT authorities. Update FMCSA scores. Risk assessment projects. Weekly/monthly input of labor hours vs. contracted hours and explanation of irregularities.

Internship Weekly Hours: Flexible
