‘A Little Help’ Web series receives LA Webfest nominations

Missouri State’s media, journalism and film department may have another award winner on its hands. The department’s second Web series, “A Little Help,” has received four nominations from the 2015 LA Web Series Festival, or LAWEBFEST, to be held April 2-5, 2015, in Los Angeles. Film production professional to present training seminar, film screening in November

Directors Guild of America member, Ken Chaplin, will be back on campus in November to screen the film he worked on, Ticket Out, and hold a two-day training seminar on film production. Springfield moviegoers to vote on international films in Manhattan Short Film Festival

The department of media, journalism and film will be screening  the 17th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival Sept. 27, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., at the Plaster Student Union Theater. International guest scholar to present cross-cultural analysis of ‘Ugly Betty’ TV series, tour MSU facilities

“I know the world has so much to offer” – Reflections on a semester abroad.

During my semester at Oxford, I spent 113 days away from home, traveled 13,625 miles by plane (32 hours and 25 minutes spent in the air), 5,456 miles by bus/car, 453 miles by train and 160 miles by ferry boat.
