We have some great events this week in Religious Studies!

On Thursday, October 3, we welcome our MSU Religious Studies alumna Dr. Leslie Dorrough Smith for her talk, “Righteous Rhetoric: Sex, Speech, and the New Christian Right” at 7:00 p.m. in Meyer Library 101.
Leading up to Dr. Smith’s talk that same day, our very own Dr. Martha Finch will give a talk in Strong 203 at 3:30-5:00 p.m., “Outward Adornment: (Ad)dressing Antebellum Protestants,” as part of the CHPA Research Forum.
Between these two talks, the Religious Studies Club invites everyone to attend the Coffee Talk at 5:00 p.m. in Strong 256 (REL Student Lounge). This month’s topic: Gender Issues & Religion.
On Friday, October 4, join us for a Chat with Dr. Leslie Dorrough Smith in the Religious Studies Student Lounge (Strong 256).
