Samantha Nichols, a Religious Studies major at Missouri State University, is interning this semester at KSMU, our Ozarks Public Radio station (91.1 in Springfield), and her first story aired yesterday: “What’s in a name?”
Ms. Nichols has a background in public speaking and debate, and the writing and presentation skills gained through her Religious Studies courses will aid her in developing newsworthy articles.
What can we expect to hear about this spring? Ms. Nichols plans to explore the huge variety of religious organizations and people in the Ozarks, as well as national and global religious affairs that affect area communities.
Congratulations, Samantha, on being chosen KSMU’s intern, and we look forward to hearing more stories of religions in the Ozarks!
