Religious Studies major, Daryl Mullins, joined twenty-seven other students from the Political Science PLS 333 Model UN class, representing Ukraine and Uruguay, and the MSU Model UN club, representing Brazil and Venezuela, at the 57th Annual Midwest Model United Nations conference this past weekend, 25-26 February. The course, taught by Dr. Ashley Leinweber, Assistant Professor in PLS, allows students to study their chosen country and that country’s position on various issues, then to “role play” as a delegate of that country during the Model UN conference.
Daryl, who will graduate this spring with the REL major and a minor in International Relations, plans to continue his studies at Missouri State in the Master of Global Studies program in the Political Science Department.
Congratulations, Daryl, and all of the participating students!
