The Religious Studies Club traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma in late March to visit various religious congregations and museums in that city, as well as eat plenty of delicious food at some of the congregations and area restaurants. Their stops included: the Mosque at the Islamic Society of Tulsa, the Sherman Miller Museum, the Hindu Temple of Greater Tulsa, the Philbrook Art Museum, Holy Family Cathedral, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, and the Tam Bao Buddhist Temple. While in Tulsa, some members of the group participated in the March for Our Lives, and everyone had some time to spend exploring Tulsa’s many attractions and restaurants.
Each year in the spring the Club visits a city in the region on a three-year rotation: Tulsa, OK, St. Louis, MO, and Kansas City, MO. Stay tuned for next spring’s Religious Studies Club trip to St. Louis!
