Introducing: our new banner highlighting our Religion & Health Curriculum!
The Missouri State University Department of Religious Studies, with a generous grant from the Wabash Foundation and in cooperation with MSU’s College of Health and Human Services, has created a curriculum for students that addresses the intersection between religion and health care. Some of our current courses, as well as our newly-developed courses in this area include: Religion, Spirituality, and Health; Body and Health in American Religions; Suffering and Meaning; Yoga and Meditation; Religion and Healing in Modern America; and Death, Dying, and the Afterlife.
All students are invited and encouraged to take our courses that pique their interests or to fulfill requirements, but these courses will especially benefit CHHS students and others who plan on entering the health fields.
