Congratulations to our former department head, Dr. Stanley Burgess and his wife, Dr. Ruth Burgess, on the publication of their new book, Two Millennia of Memorable Christian Women: Showing Strength without Power (Westbow Press)!  The Burgesses stopped by the Religious Studies office this afternoon to drop off a signed copy of the book.

One of the contributors to the book is our very own Dr. Amy Artman, Instructor in Religious Studies specializing in American Religions, especially Pentecostalism and Kathryn Kuhlman.

Both Stan and Ruth taught at the university level for over 50 years and continue to enjoy research, teaching, and mentoring others.
