Meet Sandy Crombie, a transfer student from Ness City, KS!
Sandy transferred from Ozarks Technical Community College, with an Associates Degree in General Studies. Sandy was a member of Phi Theta Kappa while at OTC. Sandy is pursuing a degree in Communication Studies, with a minor in English. Sandy is a member of Phi Sigma Pi and the Nontraditional Student Organization at Missouri State University.
When asked why Sandy chose to transfer to Missouri State University, Sandy said she chose MSU because of, “The location. I’ve lived in Springfield, MO for 9 years now.” Sandy also mentioned that the ease of transferring, between working with an OTC-MSU transfer specialist and her current academic advisor, was not only a reason she chose Missouri State University but was also the most enjoyable part of her transfer experience.
Sandy’s advice for a transfer student new to Missouri State University is to, “Ask questions. Don’t be afraid to ask. You won’t get an answer until you ask.”
Sandy would like to use this opportunity to give a shoutout to the people who helped her the most in her transition to Missouri State University: Donna Rebmann (MSU’s OTC-MSU Transfer Specialist), Jay Howard (Sandy’s current academic advisor), and her two children (Alayni and Camden).
