Fall 2023 Advisor Forums
There are two advisor forums remaining in the Fall 2023 semester! We encourage you to attend forums as your schedule allows.
“Technology in Advising Updates” will be held on Monday, December 4 from 12:00PM-1:00PM via Zoom. This forum will focus on Banner upgrades and changes in technology, including the new Brightspace forum.
“Advising International Students” will be held on Monday, December 11 from 12:00PM-1:00PM in PSU313. This forum will share valuable information regarding international student enrollment, regulatory parameters, and the overall experience at Missouri State.

Attend the 2024 COTA Conference!
The 2024 COTA Conference will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Truman Building in Jefferson City, MO. This year’s theme is “Bridging the Gap for Transfer Students”, and will address challenges with respect to student transfer, credit vs non-credit alignment, articulation agreements, and institutional policy. Registration for the 2024 COTA Conference is now open.

Transfer Advising Committee
The Transfer Advising Committee has representation from each academic college and works collaboratively to develop best practices for transfer advising, facilitate communication regarding transfer student issues, and offer professional development for transfer advisors.
