Casey Flanigan, nursing major

“This scholarship will help tremendously towards my education at Missouri State University. It will assist me as I obtain a degree in the medical field. The medical field has helped me in so many ways and now, with this, I am going to be able to help give back. Growing up in St. Louis has shaped me to be the person that I am today. Being able to represent St. Louis and Missouri State University together is such an amazing opportunity.”

T-Asia M. Mays, animal science major

“My degree is in animal science and I want to become an animal nutritionist. My dream career is to be an animal nutritionist for either Grant’s Farm, Purina, Monsanto or Archer Daniels Midland. My mother has recently re-enrolled in college to further her education, which encourages me to follow my dreams, just like her. It has made it more difficult to afford my own college education. Due to the generosity of donors like you, I am able to achieve my academic career. … This scholarship allows for brand-new opportunities into a better life and world.”

Natalie Grusch, nursing major

“I am so honored to be the recipient of the MarooNation Kansas City Student Scholarship. Thank you for your generosity and support as I pursue my dream of being a nurse. As I graduate in spring 2019, I will remember this evening and what you have given me. I will spread your spirit and kindness to my friends, patients and future students of MSU.”
