Samuel Adam Swope, a 2007 BFA graduate in sculpture from the Art and Design program, has been selected by the Chronus Art Center for their Research/Creation Fellowship in Shanghai, a three-month residency over Fall 2016.
While in Shanghai Sam will work on an installation project, “Floating Room” which will appear in conjunction with an artist talk and workshop.
After MSU, Sam went on to earn an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has served as a Research Associate at School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong.
