Missouri State invites servicewomen and men to a weekend of campus celebrations.
Thank you.
That’s the message of Missouri State University’s Veterans Day events, which include music, breakfast and several football game day promotions Nov. 5 and 10-11.
The university encourages veterans to RSVP for a free breakfast in their honor at 9 a.m. Nov. 10 at the Plaster Student Union Ballroom.
After the breakfast, veterans and community members are invited to enjoy a concert by the 135th Army Band at 10:15 a.m. The MSU Taps Project follows at 11:11 a.m. with a cascading performance of “Taps” throughout the Missouri State campus.
Bears football events
Veterans and community members can enjoy BearFest Village and cheer on the Football Bears vs. Northern Iowa Nov. 11. All military personnel can attend the game for free with valid ID. The university will recognize veterans at halftime.
