A public signing will mark the start of a new chapter for State Fair Community College (SFCC) and Missouri State University-Camdenton.
An articulation agreement between the schools, in the works since July 2016, will allow for bachelor’s degree completion for elementary education students.
Once signed, classes will begin in fall 2018 at the recently renovated Public Safety Training Center in Camdenton.
“By having this service, State Fair Community College students should gain interest knowing a degree pathway is assured,” said Gib Adkins, MSU regional outreach administrator.
Signing details
The signing takes place at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 8 at the SFCC-Lake of the Ozarks campus. Dr. Joanna Anderson, SFCC president, and Dr. Frank Einhellig, MSU provost, will sign the agreement.
The event is free and open to the public.
The mayors of both Camdenton and Osage Beach are expected to attend.
