Missouri State University awarded 576 degrees to students during  summer 2024.   

Crunching the numbers  

Students earned a total of 285 bachelor’s degrees, 255 master’s degrees and two specialist degrees.  Bears also completed a summer record high 34 doctorate degrees. 

Past the standard expectations, the university recognized two students for their work with a more rigorous curriculum in Missouri State’s Honors College.     

Several students also received scholastic honors:  

• 10 students graduated summa cum laude, with GPAs of 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale.   

• 14 students graduated magna cum laude, with GPAs of 3.75-3.89.   

• 44 students graduated cum laude, with GPAs of 3.5-3.74.    

Summer 2024 graduates will participate in the fall commencement ceremony on Dec. 13 at Great Southern Bank Arena.
