In 36 hours, more than 2,250 members of the Missouri State community came together to raise over $670,000 during the university’s fourth annual Giving Day! From March 25 to 26, Bear and Grizzly alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, corporate partners, and friends showed their pride and generosity in record-breaking numbers.
Giving Day gifts fuel scholarships, student organizations, academic programs, athletic teams, and other transformational initiatives, ensuring every student has the tools to thrive both in the classroom and beyond. This year’s success was driven by a united campus-wide effort and the passion of individual ambassadors who inspired others to give.

“Giving Day illustrates the strength and longevity of the Missouri State community each year,” said Greg Fansler, executive director of engagement and alumni relations. “A donor from every class year, from 1958 to 2024, was represented. I am proud of what that statistic symbolizes: eight decades of alumni representing their era and giving back to honor the university’s impact on their lives. It’s inspiring to see what our community can do in just 36 hours. Thank you to everyone who participated and made a difference.”
Gifts from generous donors give students access to life-changing opportunities and experiences, support research, and help the university create a better future for all. Thank you to all who gave and shared. Your support is shaping a stronger future for Missouri State students!
