Weston Bland, who triple majored in Arabic, global studies and Middle Eastern studies with a minor in international relations, was studying abroad in Cairo during the beginnings of the Arab Spring in 2011. He gained an unforgettable perspective by being in Egypt during a time of political upheaval.
