Have you been to a concert lately?  If so, you may have experienced the work of Entertainment Management alumna Amanda Bryant.  Bryant is a freelancer employed with G7 Entertainment Marketing and serves as the Sponsorship Tour Manager for P!NK’s The Truth About Love Tour, sponsored by Covergirl, and Taylor Swift’s Red Tour, sponsored by Keds and Elizabeth Arden.

The Sponsorship Tour Manager is the liaison between the venue, tour production and brand agency for the shows in each market.  Bryant coordinates activity areas on the main concourse where fans can interact with brand ambassadors.  Each tour has a plan to interact with fans, whether through photo and video marketing, manicure and touch up stations or tablet games with prizes. As if working for such popular touring shows weren’t enough, Bryant also worked the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show where Beyonce took the stage last February at the Superdome in New Orleans.

The 2005 graduate of Missouri State says she has warm memories of her time at the College of Business. “My fondest memory of my time in COB would be the feeling of eagerness I had coming into the building for my core Entertainment Management classes.”  She also credits her education at MSU for helping her to be where she is today.  “My greatest accomplishment is having the phone ring.  It is an honor for me when someone recommends me for a future project.”

Bryant resides in Nashville when she is not on the road with a tour.  In her spare time, she enjoys taking photos, reading or exploring a new town or country on a day off.  Her advice for students and upcoming graduates: “Never settle.  Keep reaching for whatever you strive for, whether that is moving for your dream job, quitting a job that you aren’t passionate about or changing industries to do something out of your comfort zone.”
