Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. AACSB Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world’s business programs. Today, there are 755 business schools in 51 countries and territories that maintain AACSB Accreditation.
The Missouri State University College of Business is accredited by AACSB International at all available levels for all programs inside the business unit, which includes the departments of Computer Information Systems, Finance and General Business, Management, and Marketing, as well as the School of Accountancy which also holds separate AACSB accreditation. The departments of Merchandising and Fashion Design and Technology and Construction Management maintain accreditation with other organizations.
