Celebrating the spring class of 2022

We wish the very best to a resilient and tenacious class of Business Bears.

May 18, 2022 by Meredith A. Gale

Please join us in congratulating Missouri State University’s College of Business spring class of 2022.

“This group of graduates has experienced a difficult time given the pandemic,” said COB Associate Dean Dr. Elizabeth Rozell. “Our students have pushed through and navigated their way to graduation.

“We are extremely proud of the tenacity our students have shown.”

Outstanding graduating seniors

724 undergraduate students and 245 graduate students within the COB will be eligible for graduation this spring.

Each semester, COB presents awards to its outstanding graduating seniors. Suzy Minihan and David Grant were among the award recipients.

Headshot of Suzy Minihan.“I had a lot of family that went to Missouri State, and they all loved it, so I felt I was destined to come here. I have so many great memories here and the College of Business has helped provide me with flexibility and connections in my program. It was so awesome to receive the outstanding senior award. The banquet was amazing, and I felt so honored to be recognized for the hard work I put in over the last four years.”

—Suzy Minihan, outstanding graduating senior in general business, spring class of 2022.

Headshot of David Grant.“I chose accounting because it offers a lot of stability, but it’s also the language of business and you can always do something with accounting. I hold a leadership position in the Accounting Club, which gave me the opportunity to connect with my peers and professors in the SOA (school of accountancy). I’ve had a good experience with all my courses and think the professors are easy to approach with questions. They also handled COVID-19 really well. I feel like I had a pretty normal college experience as soon as we got back to campus.”
