Missouri State University’s online bachelor’s degree in finance has earned another accolade.

It secured the No. 3 spot on Intelligent.com’s esteemed list of top 29 affordable online bachelor’s programs in finance for 2024.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for the value of our online finance program,” said Dr. Jeff Jones, head of the department of finance, economics and risk management at MSU. “This achievement shows our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education in the field of finance.”

In addition, the ranking emphasizes the university’s ability to offer top-tier finance education through its online platform, catering to the needs of a diverse student base.

Quality education at an affordable cost

Besides its affordability, MSU’s finance program stands out for its comprehensive curriculum and adept faculty.

The program encompasses a rich blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications, equipping students with the skills and insights required to thrive in the dynamic realm of finance.

Students in the online program also earn Bloomberg Certification. The Bloomberg Market Concepts certification is a self-paced, e-learning course that instructs students on financial markets and their operations.

The finance degree program is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.

Flexibility and convenience

One of the key advantages of MSU’s online program is its flexibility. This format enables students to pursue their finance education while balancing work, family and other commitments.

The convenience of online learning amplifies the accessibility factor, allowing individuals from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations to access a high-quality finance degree.
