Offering an excellent cybersecurity education

MSU’s MBA with IT and cybersecurity option secures top 25 ranking.

January 23, 2024 by Shania Dedigama

Missouri State University’s commitment to delivering outstanding cybersecurity education has once again been validated. Our Master of Business Administration (MBA) with information technology and cybersecurity emphasis earned a prestigious spot among the top 25 best cybersecurity MBA programs for 2024 according to Cybersecurity Guide.

The guide evaluates and assesses cybersecurity programs, breaking down the modules and trajectories offered by different programs from various universities. The guide also explains income potential and career prospects of pursuing the course, which might help a master’s student interested in cybersecurity decide the best program to choose.

Why is MSU’s MBA with ITC option a top choice?

“Our MBA with the cybersecurity certificate provides an excellent opportunity for today’s need for cybersecurity professionals in management. It adds the cybersecurity focus to an MBA degree,” said Dr. Xiang Guo, department head of ITC at MSU.

The program also offers convenience and flexibility. It can be completed as a traditional master’s program or 100% online, making it an ideal option for students holding full-time jobs.

In a world where the demand for cybersecurity professionals in management roles is growing, this program plays a pivotal role in preparing professionals for the complexities of cybersecurity.

“Our curriculum reflects the current industry needs,” Guo said. “The recognition showed our success is being recognized widely and can help promote our program to potential students and employees.”
