College of Business online bachelor’s degrees ranked among America’s best

The College of Business ranked 49th in the nation in latest U.S. News and World Report rankings.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education with its emphasis on distance education, Missouri State University has a reason to celebrate again – its online bachelor’s degrees in business ranked 50th in the nation in the U.S. News and World Report 2024 Best Online Programs.  

This recognition underscores the university’s commitment to providing high-quality and affordable online business education. 

A benchmark of excellence

The U.S. News and World Report Best Online Programs rankings are widely regarded as a benchmark for excellence in online education.  

MSU’s undergraduate business programs have distinguished themselves among a competitive field, earning accolades for innovative curriculum, dedicated faculty and the overall positive academic experience for online learners. 

Students who wish to complete an online business or accounting program can pursue these degree options: 

  • Accounting (BS).  
  • Data Analytics (BS) 
  • Economics (BA, BS) 
  • Finance – Corporate and Investments (BS). 
  • General Business (BS). 
  • Information Technology – Application Development (BS). 
  • Information Technology – Cybersecurity (BS). 
  • Information Technology – IT Infrastructure (BS). 
  • Management – International Business (BS). 
  • Marketing – Advertising and Promotion (BS). 
  • Marketing – Marketing Management (BS). 
  • Marketing – Marketing Research (BS). 
  • Marketing – Professional Sales (BS). 
  • Marketing – Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations Management (BS). 

Online programs through Missouri State and the College of Business provide the same learning objectives and academic rigor as face-to-face programs. Students receive institutional and faculty support assuring a positive experience and high completion rate. 

In addition to online undergraduate programs, COB offers six accredited online graduate degrees: 

  • Master of Accountancy. 
  • Master of Business Administration. 
  • Master of Science in Cybersecurity. 
  • Master of Health Administration. 
  • Master of Science in Information Technology. 
  • Master of Science in Project Management.*
