Missouri State University’s Association for Business Information Technology Students (A-BITS) team has once again showcased its excellence in information technology.
Eighteen team members received awards at the sixth annual U.S. Information Technology Collegiate Conference (USITCC), which took place in Shreveport, Louisiana, from April 4-6.
The event hosted 20 universities and colleges, and 167 students from around the country.
Representing the department of information technology and cybersecurity (ITC), the A-BITS team displayed outstanding skills and expertise. Out of the eight categories contested, team members secured two first-place finishes, two second-place finishes, two third-place finishes, and five honorable mentions.

The A-BITS team’s consistent dominance in national-level competitions reaffirms its status as one of the premier student IT organizations in the country.
