Missouri State University’s 3D design rehaul has had a transformative impact on its students, particularly those like Britney Spangenberg, who was deeply involved in the transition from traditional to digital design methods.
Spangenberg recently graduated from Missouri State with a degree in fashion design and product development and started a career as an associate technical designer for Fanatics Apparel.
She shared that the shift to 3D design was both exciting and challenging. Initially, she had little experience with 3D technology, but her curiosity and proactive involvement allowed her to dive into the process alongside her professor, Sandy Bailey.
The close-knit community of students helped make the transition smoother, ultimately preparing Spangenberg and her peers for the demands of modern fashion design.
