Missouri State University encourages all members of its campus community to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Missouri State students can win prizes – including free tuition, housing, meal plans, computers and more – by getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
One student will win a package including free tuition, housing, meals, books, supplies and a designated parking spot for an academic year.
Ten students will win prizes valued between $3,000-7,000.
More than 100 students will win prizes valued at about $400.
Get vaccinated
Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccinations are available by appointment at Magers Health and Wellness Center.
Students can sign up for COVID-19 vaccinations at Magers through the MyHealth Portal.
Get bookstore gift cards
The first 2,000 current or incoming students who get vaccinated at Magers after June 7 will receive a gift card to the Missouri State Bookstore.
Gift card values are:
- $10 gift card for the 1st dose of Pfizer/Moderna.
- $15 for the 2nd dose of Pfizer/Moderna.
- $25 for the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Qualify for prizes
Beginning July 9, the university will hold weekly prize drawings for vaccinated students.
Any current or incoming student who was vaccinated at Magers at any time will automatically be entered for prizes.
Students who were vaccinated somewhere other than Magers can sign up to be eligible. To be eligible for prizes:
- Submit a copy of your COVID-19 vaccination card or other written documentation to Magers. Options include:
- Email them to magersmedicalrecords@missouristate.edu
- Bring a printed copy to Magers
- Fax them to 417-836-4133
- The documentation will be entered into your electronic health record at Magers.
- Check your immunization record through the Magers MyHealth portal one week later to confirm the vaccination record has been entered.
