💰 Samaritan Fund Program

Ease the Financial Burden of Serious Illness
Application Deadline: Oct. 21, 2025

The Samaritan Fund Program offers financial assistance for employees or dependents facing severe medical conditions, helping with out-of-pocket costs, insurance premiums, and treatment expenses.

Key Highlights:

💡 Wellness Incentive

Full-time employees enrolled in the Health Plan can earn up to $30 per month ($360 per year) by completing any two of the following activities by Dec. 1, 2025:

• Biometric Screening – Identify potential health risks early.

  • Oct. 28: Springfield, PSU 308, 7–9:45 a.m. (Mercy, schedule online)

  • Oct. 29: Springfield, PSU 308, 7–9:45 a.m. (Mercy, schedule online)

  • Oct. 30: West Plains Student Recreation Center, 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (Magers, by appointment)

  • Year-round: Magers Health and Wellness (by appointment, Jan. 1–Dec. 1)

  • ➡️ If not completed at Magers, email results (lipid panel & A1C) to MagersMedicalRecords@MissouriState.edu (subject: Biometric Screening)

 

• Flu Vaccination – Protect yourself and others from influenza.
