Let Mercy Case Management Help

November 21, 2025 by Deidre Mings

Support for your health, anytime, anywhere.

If you’re covered under the MSU medical plan, the Mercy Case Management team is there to support you with your healthcare needs.

Call 417-841-5667 for help with:

  • Scheduling an appointment or test* – If your doctor ordered a test or referral and you haven’t heard back, Mercy can follow up for you.

  • Medication support – Get help if you’re struggling to afford a prescription.

  • Finding a new provider – Locate an in-network Mercy provider that fits your needs.

  • Health questions or concerns – Not sure who to ask? Mercy nurses can point you in the right direction.

*Applies only to in-network Mercy tests and referrals.

Partnering for Better Health

As highlighted in Partnering Together to Achieve Great Outcomes, Mercy’s Case Management team works closely with Magers Health & Wellness Center to make sure MSU employees receive the right care at the right time.

Their experienced nurses can:

  • Coordinate care between your providers

  • Offer education and coaching on managing chronic conditions

  • Help remove barriers—like cost or access—that stand in the way of your care

Need Help After Hours?

When Magers is closed, you still have support.
Call Mercy Nurse On Call at 417-820-2000 for 24/7 guidance on:

  • Whether to visit urgent care or the ER

  • Managing new or worsening symptoms

  • Medication or treatment questions

A registered nurse will help you decide the best next step for your situation—anytime, day or night.

Take the Next Step

Whether you need help scheduling care, managing costs, or simply have a health question—Mercy Case Management and Nurse On Call are there for you.
