Are you ready to grow your leadership skills, expand your Missouri State network, and see the university from a whole new perspective?
Applications are now open for the University Staff Ambassadors Program Class of 2027 — a nationally recognized professional development experience designed especially for Missouri State staff.
The University Staff Ambassadors Program, often known as USA, brings together a select cohort of staff members from across the university for a year of learning, connection, and behind-the-scenes exploration. Participants gain a deeper understanding of Missouri State’s people, places, programs, and mission while building meaningful relationships with colleagues across campus.
Selected applicants will:
- Participate in 11 monthly sessions, meeting one day per month from August through June.
- Take part in exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences on the Springfield and West Plains campuses, as well as Missouri State’s Fruit Experiment Station at Mountain Grove.
- Strengthen leadership, communication, networking, and team-building skills.
- Join a cohort of 25 staff members representing divisions across Missouri State.
- Become part of the active USA alumni network, with continued opportunities for connection and development after the program year ends.
Whether you are looking to better understand the university, build relationships across campus, grow as a leader, or become more intentionally engaged in the Missouri State community, USA offers a unique opportunity to do all of that — and more.
Applications are due Friday, June 19, 2026.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this meaningful staff development experience.
